Hairsine Park Revitalization

Hairsine Playground is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024, situated at 3120 139 Avenue NW in Edmonton.

Extensive planning is underway for the next two years, accompanied by fundraising efforts. The current focus is on collaborating with JD Bracco, St. Bonaventure, and the city to secure grants for funding. Additionally, we’re organizing small fundraising events throughout the upcoming year and seeking sponsorships from local businesses and community members.

We invite individuals interested in actively shaping the Playground Committee to join us. Your input will play a crucial role in determining the playground’s design.

In the coming months, we’ll host information sessions, surveys, and regularly update everyone on the project’s progress.

The Hairsine Park Redevelopment project has a budget exceeding $700,000. We’ve initiated municipal and provincial grant applications, which require matching funds. Your support for our community-led initiatives to enhance our local outdoor gathering space is invaluable! Donations exceeding $20 qualify for a tax receipt by completing a Donor Information Form.

Thank you to St. Bonaventure & J.D. Bracco students for sharing their hopes and dreams for Hairsine Park. Grade 2, 6 & 7-9 students were involved in writing letters of support and designing their desired park using Play-Doh, lego and drawing pencils.
